Miguel’s purpose as a recruiter is to build excellent and lasting relationships with every candidate he meets, helping them discover new opportunities, and reach their potential. He’s one of the good guys!

Miguel is part of Consult’s IT & Digital team, specialising in tech recruitment across QA, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, engineering, and development. With over a decade of experience in both agency and in-house HR roles, he’s built strong teams for industries including Insurance, Banking, Telecom, MSPs, Engineering, and SaaS.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Miguel’s recruitment journey has taken him around the world – from Peru to Vietnam, and now New Zealand – which has shaped his ability to connect with talent across cultures and manage local and global hiring.

Life outside recruitment is jam-packed for Miguel. He’ll be found playing tennis, trying new restaurants, gaming with friends, or watching a good movie. Whether it’s tackling a tough hire, a new recipe, or a strategy game, he’s always up for the challenge.
