A privately held, market-leading, global, rapidly growing New Zealand provider of specialist packaging and logistics solutions seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst. They partner with businesses across the food, pharmaceutical, and logistics sectors to ensure products arrive safely and sustainably. About the Role
This pivotal role acts as a financial partner to regional (NZ, AUS, USA and Europe) and executive leadership. You will lead our global financial planning processes, translating complex data into actionable commercial insights that drive profitability, mitigate risk, and support high-level strategic initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to provide accurate and forward-looking financial guidance.
• Performance Analysis: Deliver meaningful financial analysis and insights that identify business performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Business Partnering: Partner with regional and executive leaders to support commercial decision-making, profitability, and strategic initiatives.
• Management Reporting & Insights: Develop and deliver high-quality reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that drive accountability and business performance.
• FP&A Process & Systems Improvement: Enhance planning, forecasting, reporting, and data management processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and decision support.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a blend of financial modelling, strategic thinking, and collaborative business partnering.

What they are looking for;
You’ll be a great communicator with a proven track record as a Commercial Analyst, FP&A Analyst, or Financial Analyst; you’ll have modelling skills (potentially SQL skills) combined with an ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. This company is ambitious and growing; they are looking for someone who is equally as ambitious.
