About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Payroll Administrator to play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely payroll services. You’ll manage payroll processing, employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll updates, and enquiries, while also providing valuable support across HR administration and employee processes. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys making a positive impact on the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate end-to-end payroll across collective and individual employment agreements.
- Manage new starter setups, termination calculations, and legislative IRD compliance.
- Resolve complex payroll queries from medical centre managers and external stakeholders.
- Oversee HR administration inboxes, contract variations, and parental leave documentation.
- Initiate continuous process improvements to optimize payroll system performance.
So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?
- Experienced in complex payroll environments, ideally with prior iPayroll system knowledge.
- Proficient with intermediate Excel functionality and data system analysis.
- Knowledgeable in NZ employment legislation, holiday pay, and wage compliance.
- Articulate communicator comfortable supporting diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Organised problem solver who maintains extreme confidentiality under minimal supervision.
