About the Role

This is a pivotal role within a growing business advisory team, offering genuine scope for career progression. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, leverage leading technology like Xero, and be exposed to advisory work from day one, all within a supportive, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, tax planning strategies, and compliance obligations
• Manage workflows and ensure delivery within budget and deadlines
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with hands-on interaction
• Train clients on Xero and support tech migration projects
• Assist Directors and Managers by reviewing junior team members’ work

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• 3-4 years’ experience in an established CA firm at heavy intermediate or senior level
• Proven ability to manage a varied client portfolio
• Confident in preparing full financial statements using Xero
• Solid understanding of NZ tax regulations and IRD compliance
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
• Proficient with Xero and other cloud-based accounting tools
• CA qualified or actively working towards qualification
• Driven, adaptable, and eager to be part of a dynamic, growing team
