Finance Manager



About the Company:
This NZ-based listed global technology business has evolved over recent years, particularly due to the AI revolution. AI has disrupted their key service offering, but the business has evolved rapidly with new products and services and is back in profit.
They have decided to centralise some of their key finance role and their highly capable CFO is looking for someone to be his 2IC

About the Role: 
Reporting to the CFO, you will own the numbers for a key overseas entity, drive commercial decision-making, and implement robust governance practices, key responsibilities include;

• Lead and mentor a regional finance team to drive high performance.
• Deliver accurate financial analysis and month-end reporting within tight timeframes.
• Implement continuous process improvements across global accounting and ERP systems.
• Manage multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, payroll reconciliations, and audit preparation.
• Partner with business unit leaders to provide commercial forecasting and insights.
• Manage a small team.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proficient with modern ERP systems and advanced financial modelling tools.
• Ability to understand and translate international accounting stanards, US GAAP experience is a big bonus.
• Articulate communicator who translates complex data for non-finance stakeholders.
• Natural leader with a coaching mindset and strong collaborative attitude.
• Adaptable professional comfortable navigating fast-paced, global matrixed environments.
• A continuous improvement mindset and be able to embrace AI
