About the Role

This 6-month contract on the North Shore is looking for someone to bridge the gap between complex data and commercial action, owning the narrative behind performance movements. This role provides a high degree of impact and visibility, with a flexible employer and the opportunity to lead sophisticated modelling within a mature FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive variance analysis across actuals, forecasts, and business plans.
• Quantify commercial drivers including volume, mix, price, and customer behaviour.
• Drive model integrity and implement structural system improvements.
• Articulate relationships between financial results and operational performance drivers.  
• Deliver concise, decision ready insights to senior executive stakeholders.  

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

This role is a quick start role, you will need to be available to start within 2 weeks.

• Fully qualified accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
• Proven FP&A expert with strong modelling capability.
• Advanced systems user model stewardship experience.  
• Commercial thinker who translates complex data into clear narratives.  
• Expert level Excel and financial modelling technical skills.  
• Confident communicator comfortable influencing at the senior executive level.
