Clare Smyth
Born and bred in New Zealand, Clare has recently returned home after spending a decade in London, where a two year overseas experience quickly turned into ten years and British citizenship along the way.
With early experience in customer service and recruitment at one of New Zealand’s largest banks, Clare built a strong foundation across insurance and financial services before moving into an in house role with the world’s third largest reinsurance broker. There, she broadened her commercial experience by transitioning into the business and supporting a range of operational and strategic change initiatives across a global organisation.
Now back in recruitment, Clare brings a genuine interest in people, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of how businesses operate.
Outside of work, she is enjoying being close to family and friends again, spending time outdoors, drinking a slightly unhealthy amount of coffee and rediscovering New Zealand with fresh eyes.
