Technical Lead – Data Developer



About the Role

As a Tech Lead, you will act as the primary technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the enterprise MDM for Analytics platform. Partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture, delivery squads, and business stakeholders, you will bridge the gap between business outcomes and technical design. This role balances technical strategy with hands-on oversight—leading complex data modelling, designing scalable pipelines across platforms like Databricks or Snowflake, and mentoring a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME for an MDM platform, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling to support both MDM domain structures and downstream analytics consumption.
• Oversee scalable, repeatable data integration and pipeline patterns connecting MDM platforms with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Drive discovery sessions with BAs and Data Analysts to capture data requirements and define domain boundaries.
• Partner with PMs and Product Owners on release planning, dependency management, delivery sequencing, and technical risk mitigation.
• Provide day-to-day coaching, code reviews, and technical mentorship to developers and data analysts.
• Ensure all data solutions comply with enterprise data protection, security, quality, and governance standards.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Data Engineer in enterprise Master Data Management (experience with Profisee is highly advantageous).
• Strong technical capability with modern cloud data analytics platforms, specifically Databricks or Snowflake.
• Deep expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling for enterprise analytical workloads.
• Demonstrated experience design and building reliable data integration pipelines connecting varied source systems.
• Strong track record of technical leadership—mentoring engineering teams, setting delivery standards, and collaborating with architects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
