About the Role
This 6–12 month contract, based in Auckland CBD with hybrid working, focuses on migrating on-premise SharePoint 2016 business applications into SharePoint Online and the Power Platform. You will play a key role in modernising legacy systems, leveraging SPFx, Nintex, and Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions aligned to strategic transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead migration of SharePoint 2016 applications to SharePoint Online and Power Platform
  • Design and develop SPFx solutions and modern SharePoint components
  • Build and optimise workflows using Nintex and Power Automate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate legacy requirements into modern solutions
  • Drive best practice in development, documentation, and continuous improvement

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience migrating on-prem SharePoint (2013/2016) to SharePoint Online
  • Strong expertise in SPFx, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform development
  • Hands-on experience with Nintex workflows/forms and automation tools
  • Familiarity with migration tools such as ShareGate
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience
