A leading Data and Analytics consultancy is seeking a contract Senior Data Engineer with hands-on Databricks experience to join them for a 6 month contract opportunity (with chance of extensions and hybrid working on offer).

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Expertise in Microsoft data ecosystem and modern cloud architectures.
• Hands-on proficiency building scalable data pipelines using Databricks frameworks.
• Practical exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform a plus but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to engage consultancy clients and technical teams.
• Collaborative problem solver equipped to navigate complex enterprise project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer robust data pipelines using the Microsoft stack and Databricks.
• Deploy scalable infrastructure utilizing Terraform and modern cloud architectures.
• Optimize complex database models, ETL workflows, and data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate technical requirements into reality.
• Implement best practice data engineering, testing, and performance standards.
