Contract Senior Business Analyst



In this contract Senior Business Analyst role, you will capture master data requirements and bridge technical teams with business data owners. This is a 9-month contract opportunity to start with high chance of extension and can be based in either Auckland or Hamilton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business data needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business SMEs, Data Owners, and technical leads.
• Document current and future state workflows, data flows, and mapping rules.
• Establish master data governance standards, Golden Record logic, and quality thresholds.
• Support Agile delivery ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT execution.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Expertise in Business Analysis across Master Data Management or enterprise data projects.
• Practical understanding of data quality, data governance, lineage, and source-to-target mapping.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools such as SQL, Profisee, SAP, Databricks, or Power BI.
• Strong workshop facilitation skills across business SMEs and technical architecture teams.
• Collaborative mindset with proven experience operating inside structured Agile project delivery frameworks.
