They are seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Accountant to provide immediate capacity and commercial support across their key operational entities.

bout the Role

Step into a crucial 3-month contract delivering core financial control and month-end reporting across operating divisions. You will own the transactional ledger, drive IRD compliance, and partner with Finance Managers on audit preparation, offering strong commercial visibility and seamless workflow continuity for a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end journal entries, accruals, and ledger reconciliations efficiently.
• Deliver accurate cash flow forecasting and manage complex payment runs.
• Prepare GST, FBT, and IRD compliance filings with precision.
• Drive interim and full-year audit preparation for key entities.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve commercial queries and streamline processes.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Proven expertise in full-scope month-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in modern ERP accounting systems and complex Excel models.
• Concise written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Relevant accounting degree or CA/CPA qualification progress. Suited for someone with a couple of papers left or maybe just qualified. 
• Adaptable self-starter who thrives in fast-paced commercial environments.
