Some More Information About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Finance to really help the business reach the next phase in their growth. Working alongside an impressive and ambitious CEO, the Head of Finance will own the full finance function, providing strong commercial support to the senior leadership team which will drive key business decisions. You will also manage a small finance team which looks after all reporting, payroll, transactional accounting as well as supply chain and inventory planning.
  
You will be expected to be a hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to get into the detail when needed. This will be a fantastic role for someone with a background in business transformation, driving commercial insights and has demonstratable success in maximising business efficiencies. The Head of Finance will also play a key role in overseeing business and supply chain analytics, payroll, overseeing all reporting and transactional accounting, management of suppliers and managing the relationship with the outsourced IT providers.

So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a background in the retail sector as well as having experience working with inventory and stock management. You will have worked in a similar leadership role where you have had overall responsibility for the finance function and partnered closely with a CEO/MD. You will be CA/CPA qualified, ideally with a Big 4 background and you will have strong experience in technical accounting.

You’ll be a natural communicator and problem solver, whose passion lies in the commercial side of finance. You won’t be afraid to deep dive into the detail and you will have strong enthusiasm and commitment in ensuring that the finance function is operating at its optimal level. Your ability to business partner across all levels of the organisation will be crucial as well as your ability to enact positive change.
