Commercial Manager (Six months)



About the Company

A critical services business who are part of a larger household name in New Zealand. With over $60m and nearly 200 staff it’s a sizeable entity who utilises group support for transactional finance but requires a senior on site. 

About the Role

Deliver immediate commercial impact during this critical six-month transition period. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the numbers and drive core financial deliverables. They will be recruiting a permanent person longer term and open to the right person staying on permanently.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end financial audits and oversee the annual stock count 
• Coordinate FY27 budget templates across capital expenditure and staff models 
• Update contract price structures  
• Manage material pricing and costings
   

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

You must be available to start within the week with full NZ working rights and able to be on site in South Auckland.

• Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
• Confident communicator skilled at executive and Board level engagement
   
• Experienced professional from a services or business with complex inventory 
• Pragmatic, hands-on collaborator with an operational business focus
