Our client is a leading insurance provider who are seeking a contract Delivery Lead (Infrastructure Programme Manager) to join them for a 12-month initial contract. 

The Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in the operational resiliency of critical systems focusing on disaster recovery, data backup, and cyber capabilities for both on-premises and Cloud systems. This role is integral to maintaining the resilience and reliability of the company's critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of a secondary data centre and disaster recovery procedures.
• Develop and test robust data backup solutions for Cloud and SaaS systems.
• Implement new cyber capabilities and zero trust remote access solutions.
• Lead the deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop for workspace and application publishing.
• Coordinate efforts across multiple platform teams and business units.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in programme management, particularly in infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, data backup, and cyber security.
• Previous relevant industry experience would be a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical matters to senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and reporting.
