This successful services business sis carving out of a larger parent. Partnering with premier corporate entities, they are currently transitioning into a completely standalone business following a major corporate divestment. Operating a collaborative trans-Tasman model, they offer an energetic, agile environment during an exciting rebranding phase.

About the Role

This urgent, pivotal role drives trans-Tasman financial continuity during a major system migration. Partnering directly with the Head of Finance, you will establish new ways of working and own the numbers. This position delivers immense commercial impact, process ownership, and long-term career progression as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close workflows and project revenue models.
• Manage operational cost accruals and trans-Tasman GST compliance.
• Implement Xero and other tools to replace legacy sstems.
• Design new financial workflows alongside the Head of Finance.
• Deliver year-end financial requirements for New Zealand and Australian entities.

• Experienced financial accountant with strong project revenue metrics expertise.
• Advanced Xero user with system migration or setup background.
• Clear communicator effective across New Zealand and Australian business divisions.
• Adaptable professional comfortable navigating ambiguity and building workflows from scratch.
• Proactive team player focused on clean financial data delivery.
