About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of expense control, ledger integrity, and rebate administration. This is a commercial role where you will drive accurate cost information, facilitate month-end processes, and nurture crucial stakeholder relationships. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle expenses and maintain ledger integrity for accurate reporting.
• Calculate and administer complex periodic rebates for key accounts and suppliers.
• Execute month-end accounting, including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and GST.
• Investigate expense variances against budgets to support commercial decision-making.
• Resolve stakeholder queries promptly to nurture positive internal and external relationships.

• Possess a strong background in comprehensive New Zealand accounting processes.
• Operate confidently with intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Navigate mid-tier ERP systems like NetSuite to extract and analyse data.
• Communicate clearly and build trust with diverse stakeholders across the business.
• Bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to a collaborative team environment.
