About the Role

This 3-month contract position leads operational alignment during a core financial systems upgrade in the treasury systems space, the project is underway and just needs support for the final push before go live in mid-October. Offering a competitive daily rate of around $800-900 GST, hybrid WFH flexibility, and high-visibility ownership, this role allows an experienced SME to make an immediate commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

● Act as a key Finance/Treasury SME and liaison between the project and Finance Operations teams.
● Bring a strong understanding of Finance/Treasury operations, processes, controls and requirements into the project.
● Work with relevant stakeholders to understand and document current
processes and requirements.
● Help ensure operational requirements, dependencies and controls are accurately represented within the project.
● Provide operational input into proposed changes and future ways of working.
● Support the identification of opportunities to streamline and automate processes as part of the system replacement.
● Participate in system testing and UAT, bringing an operational lens to ensure the solution works as intended.
● Support the development of training materials and process documentation for impacted users.
● Help deliver training and support users as they transition to the new system and processes.
● Provide hands-on support during implementation and go-live, helping identify and resolve operational issues.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

●Strong Finance Operations, Treasury Operations or similar operational finance experience.
● A good understanding of treasury/back-office processes, controls and systems.
● Strong experience documenting processes, procedures and operational
requirements – this is important for the role.
● Experience working on a finance or treasury system implementation,
replacement or transformation project.
● Experience with system testing/UAT, training and implementation.
