Bluecurrent is at the forefront of upgrading traditional metering to digital systems as the growing need for accurate data from various sectors is pushing the demand for more advanced metering services. Specialising in B2B operations, Bluecurrent works with prominent energy retailers and distributors in NZ and Australia.
The Role
Join Bluecurrent as they venture into new territories with their water metering services, and be a pivotal part of the exciting journey! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and shaping their water metering offerings right from the beginning. Crafting comprehensive growth strategies tailored for the water sector, you will establish direct connections with key strategic partners across the country.
Key responsibilities include;
- Entering New Markets - Broaden the possibilities in the Water Metering space, acting on current and potential channels bringing a proactive business development approach, expertise, and enthusiasm
- Business Development - Acquire, retain, and expand relationships with relevant channels to introduce supplementary services
- Customer Management - Generate and oversee reports to reflect the performance of your customers
- Contract Management - Proactively manage all contractual agreements to support Bluecurrent’s successful sales lifecycle, delivery, and execution
- Collaboration - Work with Key Account Managers to implement customer account plans and provide pipeline reports for key strategic customers
- Industry Expert - Monitor market trends to facilitate the introduction of value-enhancing product offerings.
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Background in metering and a comprehensive understanding of the utilities sector are highly preferred
- Experience working with local government on investment initiatives or comparable projects
- Capacity to analyse the market and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in devising activity plans and roadmaps
- Effective communication across all organisational levels
- Capable of assessing customer potential and negotiating contract terms.
