With their New Zealand head office on the fringe of the Auckland CBD, the business offers excellent growth opportunities and the chance to be involved in some really exciting commercial projects.
About the Role
Take full ownership of financial governance, reporting, and performance management across multi-country operations. This pivotal role drives financial discipline and continuous process improvement while delivering critical commercial insights to executive teams. Offering a competitive salary package, this Auckland Central position provides an exceptional career progression path within a highly successful, global logistics network.
Key Responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead end-to-end accounting operations and ledger integrity for multiple regional entities.
- Execute monthly and quarterly close processes within strict global reporting timelines.
- Coordinate the annual external audit process across diverse international jurisdictions.
- Deliver expert technical guidance on IFRS and US GAAP compliance frameworks.
- Champion automation and process standardization to enhance group financial reporting efficiency.
- Manage a high-performing finance team.
So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?
You hold a CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification and possess deep, proven expertise in complex IFRS matters, and US GAAP compliance frameworks. You will have strong exposure to multi-entity consolidations and ideally will have worked for large complex international businesses in the past. A background reporting to an oversees parent company, with exposure to US GAAP, would be a real advantage.
An inspiring leader, you demonstrate a natural ability to guide, mentor, and align cross-border or remote finance teams toward shared operational goals. You leverage advanced proficiency in automated financial systems and modern analytical tools to optimise reporting workflows. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to confidently influence senior executives, board members, and external commercial partners. Ultimately, you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where your technical precision and cultural adaptability drive long-term organizational success.
Benefits will include the following:
- Competitive base salary, a bonus of up to 20% and free onsite parking.
- Flexible hybrid working model with work from home (WFH) options.
- Clear career progression into executive regional finance leadership roles.
- Autonomy to drive process automation and own group financial frameworks.
- Collaborative, inclusive team culture with international travel opportunities.
