Contract Group Financial Controller

About the Role

Steer group financial operations through a crucial 4-month contract covering December half-year reporting. You will directly partner with the ELT and Board to drive capital allocation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities (working closely with the current FC)

• Drive group financial reporting
• Deliver robust financial modelling to evaluate major capital allocation decisions
• Financial control across corporate pipelines and operating subsidiaries
• Optimise group treasury, foreign exchange exposure, and tax compliance frameworks.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• CA or equivalent qualification with proven executive financial leadership capabilities
• Must have direct experience navigating NZX/ASX statutory reporting and corporate governance standards
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across Board, investor, and audit functions
• Proven expertise in debt structuring, treasury management, and capital allocation.

Benefits

• Top-tier contract rate likely around $130-$200/hr  GST per hour as an independent contractor
