About the role:
This is a permanent position based in Ellerslie, standard Monday to Friday hours. Ideally, you will be available at short notice as this company would love to get someone onboard quickly! Your role will entail the following:
- Pay invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtain authorisation of payment.
- Validate revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identify delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notify customers of insufficient payments.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and daybook transactions within agreed timeframes.
Do you have what we are looking for?
- 2 years Accounts Payable experience working with high volumes.
- Strong Excel experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must as are exceptional communication skills.
- Self-starter that likes to get involved, question things and get things done.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
If you are not an NZ Citizen, you must have the right of permanent residence or a work permit

- $60,000 - 65,000 per annum
