About the Role
This role is critical in delivering robust month-end processes, insightful commercial support, and driving process enhancements. It offers exposure to various stakeholders both inside and outside of finance so a great grounding for those looking to develop their FBP skills. You'll play a strategic role in improving financial systems, reporting, and project ROI evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the month-end process, delivering accurate reports, variance commentary and cost splits across markets
- Evaluate initiatives, partnering to challenge assumptions and validate costs
- Improve processes and automate financial systems using Excel and other tools to support efficiency
- Track concurrent projects and update ROI models and scenario planning tools
- Collaborate with finance and data teams to ensure reporting consistency and insight
- CA or CIMA qualified with 5 years’ experience in management accounting or FP&A
- Proven experience in project tracking, commercial finance, and ROI modelling
- Advanced Excel skills (macros a plus); exposure to SQL/Python for data manipulation is ideal
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for streamlining financial processes
- Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and challenge commercial assumptions
- Experience with PowerBI beneficial
- Self-starter with excellent time management and a process improvement mindset
- An initial six month contract
- Hourly rate depending on experience but open to juniors from $60 up to $75 GST for the perfect fit
- Great manager I have worked with for a number of years
