Join a household name in New Zealand. They are a very strong SME with the positive backing of a large corporate which gives the ability to drive changes in a smaller more agile business.
I have worked with them a number of times in the past including placing the No.1 in finance with great feedback from people they have employed.
About the Role
This pivotal Management Accountant position offers the chance to influence financial strategies and enhance operational efficiencies following a recent D365 implementation. The role is integral to driving business performance and will be working with a fantastic CFO and mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate month end financial reports and forecasts.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and advise on business decisions.
- Manage budgets and conduct variance analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial performance.
- Lead and implement financial projects and initiatives, particularly improvements to speed and accuracy of reporting following a recent systems upgrade to D365
You must be available to start Monday the 13th of May and to interview this week.
- Proven experience in management accounting within a large, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software (Ideally D365/Microsoft Business Central) and advanced Excel skills.
- A qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- A dynamic team player with a track record of financial project management.
