About the Role:

Opportunity to join a dynamic digital transformation consultancy. This 6-month initial contract role, based in Wellington, leads a cross-functional initiative to enhance shared services in a government entity.

The work spans operating model uplift, process optimisation, technical implementation (including ServiceNow), and stakeholder engagement, contributing directly to more efficient public service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and align multiple workstreams to project goals and milestones
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and decision-making points early
• Work collaboratively with BAs, change managers, and technical teams
• Ensure effective and simple communication with stakeholders
• Champion structured governance without unnecessary complexity

Key Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects
• Previous experience in operating model uplift/change highly desirable
• Strong communication and alignment skills across diverse teams
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms is advantageous
• Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure
• Clear, jargon-free communication and stakeholder engagement
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Experience in public sector or similar structured environments preferred
