The Opportunity

We are keen to connect with candidates who keen to join a leading advisory firm with a solid history and footprint in the NZ market seeking to hire at the Manager level.
  
Within the Restructuring, Turnaround and Insolvency space they deal with under-performing or distressed companies who may be in distress or crisis. Their strategies are also in high demand from stable businesses who are looking at process and performance improvement or managing sudden and often complex issues that arise unexpectedly.
  
You’ll be leading a team with the potential to work with businesses in financial distress, providing technical advice to both the public and private sectors, be involved in fraud investigations, and provide independent financial advice in respect of mergers and acquisitions. This is a rare opportunity that will allow you to have a full 360 coverage of the entire restructuring & insolvency cycle.
  
You’ll be working with a broad mix of local and international companies, banks, large corporates, law firms and government.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work on wide range of clients from different industries & sectors
• Formal appointments and ensuring the continuous operations of the business
• You’ll have excellent client and stakeholder management skills gained from dealing with a diverse and extensive portfolio
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the team or on assignments and recommending solutions or alternatives to a partner

The Ideal Candidate

• Professionals from either one of the Big 4 or international mid tier firms from any of the following service lines: Forensic, Restructuring/Business Recovery, Deals Advisory or Transaction Services.
• The ideal candidate would bring 2-3 years of relevant experience, with the relevant certifications (CA/CPA or CFA) or midway in being qualified.
• The ideal candidate would have had experience in a familiar accountancy environment.
• You’ll have excellent client and stakeholder management skills gained from dealing with a diverse and extensive portfolio.
• Solid financial modelling and experience with managing big data will be advantageous but not compulsory.

• Kiwis wrapping up their OEs and looking to return home in the near future to NZ are encouraged to apply.
