About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in restructuring and insolvency within a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll work on a range of challenging assignments across New Zealand, with potential international exposure, helping businesses navigate complex financial situations. Alongside hands-on project work, you’ll develop strong stakeholder relationships and gain valuable experience in financial investigations, business turnaround, and advisory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of restructuring and insolvency engagements including receiverships, administrations, and liquidations
• Assist with business trading, asset realisation, and exit strategy processes
• Conduct financial investigations, modelling, and preparation of data books
• Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, directors, employees, and advisors
• Contribute to client projects while helping strengthen relationships with key referrers

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• 2 years’ experience within a CA firm or similar professional services environment
• Exposure to restructuring or insolvency engagements is advantageous
• Commerce degree and currently working towards CA or CPA qualification
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinker with strong commercial and problem-solving ability
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
• Able to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
