We are looking for strong experience in testing and automation (Cypress in particular), but also someone who is comfortable keeping an eye on platform health: logs, metrics, alerts, that sort of thing. Not a pure DevOps role, more a modern Quality Engineer with a platform/reliability mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and evolve test strategies for both desktop and web-based applications
- Contribute to both manual and automated test coverage, ensuring robust software delivery
- Working on modernised stack (they have an old stack they are currently grandfathering and migrating their customer base off of)
- Work closely with engineers and product teams to validate features and resolve issues
- Use tools like Cypress, X-ray, and Jira to manage and report on test progress
- Solid experience in software testing, Desktop testing is a must have.
- Comfort with manual testing and a technical understanding of test automation frameworks.
- Prior experience with Cypress or Playwirght and X-ray; experience with Jira is essential
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Azure, and SQL
- Adaptability, independence, and a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach

- Rate: $70.00 - 90.00 hour GST, depending on experience
