About the Role

Join a high-performing consulting team delivering strategic advice and transformation programmes across Aotearoa’s public and private sectors. You will help organisations tackle complex challenges, from operating model design to large-scale programme delivery. This role offers exposure to nationally significant projects, strong professional development, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project workstreams, delivering clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Support major transformation programmes through PMO, delivery, or change expertise.
• Apply Better Business Case and Machinery of Government knowledge to strategic decisions.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and continuous improvement of consulting methodologies.
• Build strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work across multiple engagements.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Experience in consulting, programme delivery, or public sector transformation.
• Knowledge of Machinery of Government and Better Business Case methodology.
• Background in PMO, programme/project delivery, or organisational change.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in policy and transformation.
• Experience engaging with Māori stakeholders and integrating Māori perspectives.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have prior consulting experience within a professional consulting firm
