About the Role
Join a close-knit team delivering high-quality bookkeeping and transactional accounting services to external clients. You'll work across varied industries and businesses, gaining wide exposure and developing your skills in a firm that values both initiative and teamwork. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Central Auckland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable and Credit Control processes
- Run payroll (wages and salaries), including PAYE and GST preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with end-of-month close
- Prepare accounts for review by Senior Accountants and BAS Managers
- Liaise with clients to manage queries and deliver accurate reporting
- 3 years of bookkeeping or transactional accounting experience
- Proficient in Xero and Xero add-ons
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client interaction
- High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Results-driven with a proactive, can-do approach
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
