We’re looking for a rare breed—someone who can wear both the operational and strategic hats in information security. As the Senior Security Operations (& also Governance) Specialist, you’ll act as the 2IC to the Head of Information Security, taking ownership of security ops, governance frameworks, and long-term security roadmaps.

You’ll lead the charge on threat detection, response and incident analysis, while shaping policy, risk posture and strategic uplift. You’ll have deep knowledge of Microsoft security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID), and know how to get the best out of SIEM, EDR, CASB, and vulnerability management platforms. Experience with PCI, NIST CSF or CIS frameworks is key.

You’ll work closely with vendors, internal tech teams, and business stakeholders to ensure governance is as tight as your playbook. Bring strong GRC experience, a track record of mentoring others, and a proactive mindset.

What you bring

• 5 years in Microsoft Security (365, Azure, Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender)
• Operational SME across security platforms and tooling (SIEM, CASB, EDR etc.)
• Deep understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ability to shape strategy and build roadmaps
• Certifications like SC200 / SC900 / Security preferred
• Natural leader and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
