About the Role:
This is a strategic, hybrid role that blends business analysis with cyber governance. It supports critical cybersecurity uplift initiatives, contributing to compliance, data protection, and risk oversight in alignment with evolving regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive rollout of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across the organisation, incorporating feedback from pilot phase.
- Finalise and document governance procedures, operating models, and BAU handover for DLP and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM).
- Lead cyber policy and standards review, aligning with CIS, NIST, RBNZ, and NCSC frameworks.
- Rebuild and automate key cybersecurity metrics and improve reporting for board-level transparency.
- Strengthen vendor governance, incident response documentation, and compliance-by-design integration.
- BA Core: Requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement, process mapping.
- Cyber Governance: Policy development, standards alignment, control mapping.
- Framework Knowledge: CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, RBNZ, NCSC.
- Data & Metrics: Analysis, logic validation, reporting automation.
- Tools: ServiceNow IRM, Splunk SIEM, Excel, AI-assisted document review.
- Strong communication and ability to work independently at pace.
