About the Role
This is a pivotal, people-focused role that sits at the heart of the commercial function. You’ll report to the Commercial Manager and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting, including journals, reconciliations, and insightful commentary
- Deliver high-volume WIP analysis, margin reviews, and recurring revenue reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, pricing reviews, and support CAPEX planning
- Take full ownership of accounts receivable, cost controls, and asset reporting
- Partner with stakeholders across all levels, driving commercial outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives
You’re a commercially minded Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years’ experience in a large organisation, ideally within a manufacturing, utilities, or cost-heavy environment. You thrive on ownership, can interpret complex financial data, and are confident engaging with operational and senior stakeholders.
Your background ideally includes high-volume WIP, recurring revenue, and CAPEX management, and you’re known for your attention to detail and ability to translate numbers into meaningful business stories. Strong Excel skills, ERP exposure, and a collaborative mindset will set you up for success in this role.
