About the Role
This is a leadership role at the heart of a forward-thinking finance team, supporting enterprise-wide strategic goals. You'll lead a talented team, champion best practice in financial control, and contribute to system and process improvements. The business partnering aspects of the role will deliver financial analysis and insights to senior management for business decision-making. Establishing positive partnering relationships across Finance will strengthen opportunities to add value by asking questions, testing thinking, and sharing insights, intelligence, and ideas, always through a continuous improvement lens.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and grow a high-performing finance team across locations.
- Strengthen financial control and reporting within a newly implemented ERP system.
- Provide strategic financial insights and advice to senior leaders and subsidiary boards.
- Drive process improvements and ensure alignment with legislation and best practice.
- Foster strong cross-functional business partnerships to support decision-making.
You are a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with a robust foundation in financial accounting or auditing, likely gained within a professional services firm or a large multinational organisation. You are dynamic and curious, always seeking to understand the "why" and confident in exploring ideas that amplify value through processes, information, and communication. An advocate for positive change, you are ready to inspire and guide others, including remotely located team members.
With strong analytical skills, you prioritise data integrity and can effectively communicate key insights and messages to subsidiary boards and senior finance managers. This is your opportunity to lead and shape the financial future of an industry leader.
