About the Role
This newly created role plays a critical part in the financial function of the business as they prepare for global expansion. Supporting the CFO, the role offers scope, challenge, and learning in an exciting SME poised for multinational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, annual reports, and support working papers.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, and customers to ensure financial accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable, international shipping documentation, and logistics compliance.
- Handle customer invoicing and payroll using Xero.
- Support GST filing, rental contracts, and associated invoicing.
- Assist with stocktake valuations and inventory tracking.
- Ensure accurate and timely PAYE compliance and filing.
- Support general finance admin as needed.
So who are you and what is your profile?
You’re part-qualified (or currently studying) towards your CA qualification and bring at least two years’ experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within engineering or manufacturing. You’re confident working with Xero and are comfortable with Excel. You have strong attention to detail, a positive, can-do attitude, and a natural curiosity about how the wider business operates. You're keen to grow your skills in a supportive environment where your development is encouraged, and your contribution is valued.
