A global distribution and manufacturing company with firm roots in New Zealand, this is a privately owned, well-established business who have been going for over 20 years.

Some more information about the role

This is a mix of accounts and administrative sat within a small finance function. The main duties are transactional responsibilities and office support. To succeed in this role you MUST have an accounting background/knowledge and not be afraid to get involved in day to day administrative tasks coupled with the accounting duties. It will be reporting directly into the Accountant.
  • Processing invoices
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Dealing with overseas suppliers
  • Reconciliation of foreign currency
  • Customer service responsibilities
  • Statement Reconciliations
  • General office duties
  • Ad hoc duties when required
 So who are you, and what is your profile?

The right person for the role must have a similar background in a previous role or general accounting experience. This would either suit a bookkeeper looking for a stable and friendly team, or a junior Accounts Assistant looking to gain further knowledge working for an excellent company.
