This is a newly created role for a great client of ours at Consult Recruitment who are going through a period of real positive transformation in their finance team. With several operation divisions, they are in the process of moving to purpose-built new corporate offices and are growing impressively with several key long-term contracts in place.
  
There is a strong focus on developing business partners in the finance team and as such we are recruiting this role on an exclusive basis for them, with the technical focus being in the following areas:
  • Analysing and providing financial information to this significant business unit by continuously improving the integrity of the newly installed financial system
  • Closely supporting the Project Managers at all stages of projects to help them with job costing and claims
  • Partnering with operations management on updating and interpreting forecast revenue
  • Preparation of financial reports and associated commentary
  • Creating and maintain the annual budget
  • Providing overall support to the business units in all areas of accounting and finance support
To be successful in this role you will ideally need to be a Qualified Accountant and have a sound commercial brain coupled with highly effective interpersonal skills – both in writing and face to face.
  
The role will be based out of a prime location in Mt Wellington in new corporate offices – so a great location, great offices and more importantly a business that is actively growing and evolving in this challenging business environment!
