More About The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will get the opportunity to work on a huge range of clients from a variety of industries and sizes.
Primarily, you'll be dealing with the more technical procedures and be on that front line engaging with clients on site.
You could range from managing an entire Audit one week to working as part of a larger team the next. There will be a mixture of engagements ranging from larger teams for commercial audits to solo audits for schools and not-for-profits.
As you become more comfortable in your role, you'll be asked to lead the audit teams on site and help mentor more junior staff. Progressively, you'll become involved in more complex businesses and even projects.
So who are you, and what is your profile?
Ideally, you will be (full or almost) CA/CPA qualified or overseas equivalent and potentially looking for an opportunity to step up. Or you could be someone who began in Audit before going to the commercial world and find yourself looking for a contract opportunity.
You ideally have managed Audits previously, working with clients from a mix of industries. You could be from a variety of backgrounds and previous experience in staff management would be a bonus.
This could be a fantastic first role for an ex Big 4 / Mid Tier Auditor who has recently arrived from overseas and looking for a strong transition into the Accounting and Finance market here in NZ.
You are expected to be commercially savvy and in return, you'll have an opportunity to advance your career joining a growing brand, whilst getting 1st class professional and life experiences.
