Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk & Compliance you will be responsible and drive ownership for specific business units within this leading organization.

Including developing and enhancing policies, processes and framework with full visibility and ownership of relationships including with GM and EGM'S of your business units.
  
You'll assist in making important links across the business, so we're looking for a proactive person who is a natural at building great relationships and comfortable in conversation with executive managers.
  
Working in a close-knit team, the role has variety across multiple disciplines to keep you on your feet, keep you engaged, and allow you to grow on a personal level.
  
So who are you, and what is your profile?
  
You will have a strong understanding of Operational risk from a line 1 or line 2 perspective, coming from within the industry (financial services) or stepping out of a Manager / Senior Associate role in a Big 4 Consultancy environment and looking for your first Managerial role.
  
The ability to be agile and think on your feet across a variety of disciplines is imperative. Having an enquiring mind, you will have the ability to engage with executive stakeholders across the division and wider business providing valuable suggestions and enhancements to current risk processes.
  
Key requirements to be successful in this role include:
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Operational Risk
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and provide valuable insights and improvements to the overall risk framework and processes.
  • Excellent communication, & stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong ability to be agile and to be able to think on your feet regarding appearing risks
  • The ability to take responsibility, ownership and drive risk for the business unit and organization.
