Some More Information About The Role
Reporting into Senior Management you will lead the Risk & Compliance function for the business. Foundations have been set with an initial Compliance framework, however, you will be challenged in future-proofing the business thinking two steps ahead with their pace of scale and growth!

Key tasks/responsibilities will include:
  • Enhancing and developing a robust Compliance framework and monitoring programme.
  • Assisting with Board reporting and external reporting including AML, and FMA reporting
  • Training and educating front line staff on new compliance policies and regulation.
  • Managing relationships with the regulators
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the industry and the regulatory environment;
So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?

Culture is key within the organization. You need to be comfortable with pace, challenge and the unknown. There is no Red tape insight and the ability to bring solutions and think outside of the box is a real key asset.
Key requirements to be successful in this role includes:
  • 5 years’ experience working in Compliance / Operational Risk in the financial services industry 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding to NZ & AU regulatory requirements
  • Overview of a Compliance program including, monitoring, testing and reporting to management
  • Prior exposure to the CCCFA, FATCA, AML & CFT
  • Excellent communication, & stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
