Our client is a charitable not-for-profit organisation, based at Middlemore Hospital that facilitates clinical trials. These trials give the medical specialists and Counties Manukau patients greater access to better, innovative medicines and new medical devices.
    
So, Who Are You?
  
A nurse who has at least 3 years post registration experience, who has realised they are looking for a career move outside of the DHB's. Bright, bubbly, enthusiastic, fast learner? Then we might be looking for you!

Other requirements:
  • RGON or R.COMP NURSE
  • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience (Research exp not essential)
  • Advanced patient assessment skills.

  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’
Strong communication skills are a must along with being a team player as you will be working in a tight-knit team and with external stakeholders. Lastly, due to the nature of the organisation, you will have the ability to multi-task and manage your time and workload effectively. 
  
Some More Information About The Role

The Research Nurse is responsible for critiquing, planning and implementing clinical trial protocols in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and the other trial team members. This involves pre-screening, recruiting participants, and clinically managing participants enrolled in clinical research trials. The Research Nurse is also responsible for the successful completion of the trial in accordance with the International Conference of Harmonisation (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
  • Implement Clinical Trial Protocols & manage Clinical Trial Participants
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements related to Clinical Trials
  • Financial Management relating to Clinical Trials
  • Ensure practise is culturally sensitive
Work Monday - Friday (no shifts), 6 weeks annual leave, birthday day off.
