Some More Information About The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work very closely with both NZ and Australian operations. A key part of the role is the Payroll for both countries, however they are big fans of cross-training the team so you'll be involved in many of the wider accounting functions too. 

Some duties will include:
  • Both NZ and Australian Payroll
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly journals including accruals
  • Variance analysis
  • Fixed asset maintenance
  • Back-up for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Overseas payments
  • Other ad-hoc assistance work as required
So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

This role will suit someone who is a quick learner and can operate well in a fast-paced environment. You've done Payroll in a medium-sized company before whether that be in Australia or New Zealand. You also need to be confident at the Assistant Accountant level with at least 3 years experience and have solid Excel skills.

Being a team-focused environment, the ability to communicate at all levels is also imperative. You aren't a precious person and are happy to chip in at all levels and help improve systems and processes where you can.
