Some More Information About The Role

As an Intermediate Accountant, you'll be working closely alongside the Managers and Partners on a diverse range of clients, tapping into their years of knowledge & experience while making sure the work you do for clients is top-notch. 
Yes, this will involve completing a range of tax returns, producing the full set of annual accounts but on top of that, you'll gain exposure to more value-add services like forecasting, project management, cash flow statements & budgets. You'll also need to be comfortable with conducting reviews. 
Thanks to some handy partnerships and amazing networks, you'll be exposed to a some of the best businesses and start-ups in the market, of all sizes and industries. Let us emphasise here that these clients are doing some pretty awesome things.

Additionally, to keep you at the top of your game you'll receive regular training in all the changes to Xero and in NZ legislation.

So Who Are You, And What Is Your Profile?

You may already be CA/CPA qualified or close to becoming qualified - you will need to have prior experience working within a professional accounting firm, preferably from a medium sized environment or larger. 
At an intermediate level, they expect you to have a good understanding of the current NZ tax legislation and financial reporting requirements. You'll be working very closely with Managers and clients so you need to be confident enough to hold your own and also know how to ask the right questions.
