This is a great opportunity for a talented and experienced manager to take the reigns in this varied role with overall responsibility for the finance and administration function for this well established and market-leading creative firm based in Central Newmarket. 

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role has true diversity. Overseeing all financial operations with two direct reports (one part-time) - you will be doing everything from financial and management reporting to assisting with operational/commercial business decisions. It is a hands-on role in an environment where everyone pitches in - if you need to pick the phone up you do. If you need to help out at a morning tea you do.

The office environment is creative, modern and extremely nice (in our humble opinion!). The nature of this company means you will be dealing with a number of creative people every day so the ability to communicate effectively and relate to a wide range of people (including the board) is critical. 

We are looking for someone who has the maturity to effectively manage all aspects of this role without needing hand-holding. It doesn't necessarily need a Qualified Accountant but it would need someone who has operated in a financial management role - ideally in a small/medium-sized business. 

We are looking for someone to come onboard in an initial contract capacity for 3 months with a start sometime later this month. Ultimately our client's goal is to hire someone permanently so if you have the desire to secure a permanent job longer term then this role could be a great option.
