A Little Bit About The Company

This is a well-known and respected company with a worldwide presence and diverse operations.

The business is continuously growing and evolving and significant investment is being made to make it the best in its industry. People love working in its friendly and collaborative culture. Working in the Group function you’ll get broad exposure across the entire business.

Some More Information About The Role

Due to an internal secondment, the contract opportunity has come up in the Corporate Finance team. It is also a role where you get exposure to a bird’s eye view of the business as well as the opportunity to dive into the detail.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager the core routine aspects of this role include preparing, analysing, presenting and reporting of information to various stakeholders in the business.
This role will be responsible for the unearned income - the internal profit made on transferring inventory from the manufacturing company to a distributor in another country. This will involve updating monthly files for review, revaluation for exchange rate changes monthly, reconciliations of the unearned income and investigating /problem-solving.

This role will also get involved with the corporate finance and tax which will involve the statutory accounts and preparations of tax returns.
So Who Are You, And What Is Your Profile?
A great fit for this role would be someone from a CA background working with large complex clients. Most likely you’d be at a Senior Associate or Assistant Manager type level. This has been successful in the past. Equally, we would consider someone out of a large business with strong technical accounting skills and problem-solving abilities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with the business and building up relationships but also someone who solid with excel and enjoys working with large amounts of data.

They have a strong team focus so it is important that you have a collaborative approach but can then go off on your own to work on things as well. Being helpful, methodical and applying a bit of passion to your work are things that will draw us to you as well.
If you are keen for a role where you will be set up for success and given work that is diverse and challenging then we’d love to hear from you. Please call Olivia Ghezzi on 09 410 7235 or go ahead and apply.
