My client is a privately owned New Zealand business working with architects and designers, providing high-quality commercial furniture and lighting to help create high-end, collaborative, engaging and fun working environments and spaces. 

They are a small close-knit team who bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to help create spaces that drive productivity and create an environment designed to attract and retain staff and as well enhancing health and wellbeing within an organisation. 

The Role

With a plan for growth trajectory, the role can be scoped based on your sales experience and relationships you hold and with opportunities to expand on your current experience. My client will be looking for new business opportunities with architects, designers, small businesses and larger corporates. 

Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Hunting new business opportunities mainly in the Auckland market
- Managing sales process from prospecting, managing pipeline and closing deals
- Establishing relationships with current clients and generating new business opportunities within these
- Meeting sales targets
- Presenting to prospective clients

About You

You will be an experienced business development manager or account manager ideally within the commercial property industry. You will have a passion for design or architecture and work to a high level of sophistication. You are a natural sales hunter and are someone who has a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue year on year.

You are someone who is self-motivated and has the ability to work autonomously. You will have a strong focus on ensuring you are working to a high standard delivering award-winning customer service and are comfortable working across all levels of the business and can confidently approach and close deals at C-Suite level.
