Warehouse Operations Specialist

About the Company
This is a premium retail business experiencing exciting growth across New Zealand and Australia. With multiple successful stores across New Zealand and their first flagship store about to launch in Australia, the brand has a loyal following and a clear vision. The team is tight-knit, collaborative, and committed to doing things well.

About the Role
This is more than just a warehouse support role, it's a chance to be part of a business that’s growing, changing, and investing in the future. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse while also supporting wider operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily picking, packing, and dispatch of retail and online orders, making sure things go out quickly, accurately, and in line with brand expectations

  • Support the wider team with the intake of goods from local and international suppliers, ensuring all stock is processed correctly and efficiently

  • Use Carton Cloud to maintain accurate inventory, create pick lists, and help improve how the team interacts with stock data

  • Work closely with two team leaders and the Operations Manager to identify and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working whether it's improving layout, processes, or how the team uses systems

  • Play a hands-on role in keeping the warehouse organised, clean, and running well, while also being part of ongoing conversations around automation, systems upgrades, and operational transformation

So who are you and what is your profile?
You’ll bring at least five years of experience in a warehouse environment and a solid understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations. You’re confident with technology and systems and naturally look for ways to improve processes and workflows. You’re comfortable working at pace, thrive in a collaborative team setting, and communicate well across all levels. You’re organised, detail-oriented, and take pride in doing things right the first time. A forklift licence would be great, but it’s not essential. What matters most is your proactive mindset, technical curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm for helping the operation run smarter and smoother.

You’ll be joining a growing business. This is a chance to be part of something fresh and exciting, where your ideas and input will be valued. There’s a great team already in place, and a future that includes warehouse upgrades, automation, and growth. If you're looking for a role that combines hands-on logistics with opportunities to make real improvements, this could be the perfect next move.
