About the Role

Based in Auckland CBD, this Senior Analyst to Assistant Manager role offers rare end-to-end exposure across the full restructuring and insolvency lifecycle. You will work on high-profile, often complex assignments spanning distressed and stable businesses, fraud investigations, independent reviews, and M&A-related engagements, while building deep technical capability and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver detailed financial, commercial, and cashflow analysis across engagements
• Support restructuring, insolvency, and independent business review assignments
• Build and review financial models, forecasts, and valuation analysis
• Prepare reports, presentations, and written advice for stakeholders
• Work closely with senior colleagues, clients, banks, lawyers, and regulators

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• 2–3 years’ experience in restructuring, forensic, deals, or transaction services
• Background from a Big 4, mid-market, or specialist advisory firm
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Studying toward or holding CA, CPA, or CFA (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and collaborative
• Motivated to build a long-term advisory career
