About the Role
  
This role is critical in delivering robust month-end processes, insightful commercial support, and driving process enhancements. It offers exposure to various stakeholders both inside and outside of finance so a great grounding for those looking to develop their FBP skills. You’ll play a strategic role in improving financial systems, reporting, and project ROI evaluation.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Month end preparation – excel heavy with some journals, then preparation of reports in excel (some of this reporting is moving to PowerBI which this role will support)
• Compilation of forecast data – Currently in Excel but again looking to streamline
• Evaluate initiatives, partnering to challenge assumptions and validate costs
• Track concurrent projects and update ROI models and scenario planning tools
• Collaborate with finance and data teams to ensure reporting consistency and insight

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• CA or CIMA qualified with 5 years’ experience in management accounting or FP&A
• Proven experience in project tracking, commercial finance, and ROI modelling
• Advanced Excel skills (macros a plus); exposure to SQL/Python for data manipulation is ideal
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for streamlining financial processes
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and challenge commercial assumptions
• Experience with PowerBI beneficial
• Self-starter with excellent time management and a process improvement mindset

What’s on offer?

• An initial six month contract
• Hourly rate depending on experience but open to juniors from $60 up to $75 GST for the perfect fit
• Great manager I have worked with for a number of years
