This is a key role within a high-performing data team that supports strategic initiatives through robust, scalable data solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure data products and services align closely with evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to define data solution requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements.
- Support implementation of data products and services across teams.
- Facilitate clear communication between business and technical units.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills, including data mapping and process flows.
- Proficiency in SQL and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
- A systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
- Commitment to continuous learning and inclusive team culture.
- 6-12 month initial contract
